Singing Strategy Manager, Create Music

Issy is an experienced choral leader, vocal teacher and singer with many years experience of working with people of all ages in different community settings and musical venues .

In her role as Singing Strategy Manager at Create Music, Issy is working to grow and develop singing in and outside of school to ensure that all of our children and young people have opportunity to sing together, in line with the central role that singing plays in the NPME.  She is a keen advocate for the many positive benefits of singing, especially for supporting well-being and social cohesion.

Issy has conducted massed children’s voices at the Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Proms, at Wigmore Hall and for Spitalfields Music in newly commissioned collaborative works for community singers and professional musicians.
