Head of Music, Patcham High School
An experienced Music teacher with nearly 20 years practice in the classroom working in secondary schools and leading a department for 14 of those. Adrian’s ethos is to get as many students as possible creating and participating in Music.
Trained in Music Education at University of Sussex, Adrian worked at the Angmering School for three years developing Music Technology as part of the curriculum and arranging music for extra-curricular ensembles before moving to Patcham High School as Head of Music.
In Adrian’s time at Patcham, music has been established at the heart of the school – through themed concerts, musical productions, every assembly having a music performance, instrumental recruitment, extra-curricular recruitment, and key stage 4 recruitment has increased in the school as opposed to recent national trends in Music Education.
