Stephen began learning drums at the age of 11 under the mentorship of Tom Annan, a top session drummer in Scotland. Only 7 months later, Stephen found himself in his first band – a gig he held for 6 years.
During his school years, Stephen was lucky enough to play in most of the school ensembles led by professional musician Leon Thorne (Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Martha Reeves) and Stephen began to build a solid foundation for a future in music.
Stephen has been playing the drums for over 20 years, and has played for many bands and shows across the country as well as internationally.
Professional credits include: The 12 Tenors (South Korea & Europe), Seriously Collins – Phil Collins & Genesis Tribute, DS:UK, Urinetown – The Musical (The Urdang, London), 9 to 5 – The Musical (City Academy, London), Cinderella and Beauty and The Beast (Redhill Panto) and Sleeping Beauty (Rhyl Panto). Stephen has also played several productions for Centre Stage London. On top of this, Stephen has played countless function gigs and festivals nationwide.
