Rebecca has taught Singing, Piano, Recorder and Harp privately for over 15 years and is excited to be joining West Sussex Music.
As well as teaching, Rebecca has also worked for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in their Education Department where she managed projects of varying sizes. The projects she specialised in were those for early years, primary schools and SEND students. Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed working in this arena and found that it was spectacular CPD on a daily basis!
After the RPO and a stint working as a SEND TA in schools, Rebecca went to work for Hackney Music Development Trust (HMDT Music) as their Senior Music Manager. As well as working on large scale projects Rebecca’s main responsibility was for their large Saturday Music Programme in Hackney which consisted of four different strands: The Music Box (early years), CYMH instrumental school, I Can Sing! Music Theatre, Music Treehouse (SEND) and the Julian Joseph Jazz Academy. As well as managing it day to day, you would also see Rebecca leading ensembles, teaching students and deputising for tutors.
