Education & training

Nathan has been studying drums for 15 years and over this time has picked up multiple qualifications. He has gained his a diploma in Music Technology and a First Class Honours Degree in Music Performance from Northbrook College.

During his time spent at Northbrook, Nathan expanded his musical ability by exploring and learning new drumming styles, techniques and genres. This opened up lots of opportunities in and outside of education which has also allowed him to learn and continue to improve as a drummer.

Skills & experience

Nathan has been playing at a professional level for the last decade and has gained plenty of experience during this time. He has been involved in multiple professional bands which has allowed him to travel up and down the country and play at many venues and events. Nathan has played at professional venues such as The Water Rats and The Lexington in London and The Blue Moon in Cambridge. He has also played at festivals such as Glas-Goes-Pop and Worthing Surf Festival.

Nathan has a passion for 60s pop, rock and roll, 70s prog rock, punk and many more. Learning the playing styles and techniques in these genres has improved his playing and teaching ability.

Nathan currently plays drums in 60s psychedelic pop band Telecom who are currently about to release their first album, and for Rachel Love, formally of the riot girl punk pioneers, The Dolly Mixture.
