Mahya is a Master’s student at the University of Chichester studying Music Performance in Piano. She has worked with experienced teachers and have been taught for 7 years, during her undergraduate studies. Mahya can teach individuals and groups based on the student’s preference.
Mahya has participated in different festivals in the UK and outside of the UK, got first place in Piano Festivals, namely Coulsdon and Purley Festival in April 2024 and won the Festival Cup. As a concert pianist and a teacher, she always teaches children based on her experiences in terms of what method could suit them best and how to achieve a successful and confident performance. Mahya uses various ways such as playing games, singing and playing, improvising as well as the children’s repertoire book so that in each stage so they learn different aspects of music that make them play a piece well and enjoy music.
