Education & training

Georgia is a woodwind instrumentalist specialising in the Flute, Saxophone and Clarinet. She began playing the flute at 10 years old and soon expanded her learning to the saxophone and the clarinet. She was actively involved with the orchestra and concert band through the ‘Wirral Schools Music Service’ and participated in a number of flute ensembles and choirs.

In 2022, Georgia received a first class degree in BMus Performance from the University of Chichester, where she studied flute under Ben Train and saxophone and clarinet under Spencer Bundy. Most recently, she has completed her Masters in music performance, deepening her knowledge of woodwind history, repertoire and technique.

Skills & experience

Georgia’s experience has allowed her to perform at prestigious events in West Sussex, as well as across the UK, France and Germany. Notably, she was the principal flautist in the UK premiere of ‘A Christmas Carol the Concert’, has performed at the Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed and has played in many musical theatre productions such as ‘9 to 5’ and ‘Chess’.

Driven by her passion for music and music education, Georgia is eager to use her skills to inspire the next generation of musicians and give young people the same opportunities that shaped her own musical journey.
