Inspiring young people has always been core to Ensemble Reza’s ethos and within three months of setting up Ensemble Reza in 2013, they had run an education project! From pre-school to A-level, mainstream and special needs Ensemble Reza can tailor projects to meet the needs of your school or community youth group and with their wealth of contacts they are always happy to consider cross-curricular or cross-art activities.
Based in Mid Sussex and established over eight years ago, Ensemble Reza is at its core a sextet (two violins, two violas and two cellos) however they can include any combination of string players from soloist to sextet and occasionally a few extra instruments (also performed by members of the group) including accordion, bouzouki, guitar, ukulele and piano. Individually members have performed worldwide with globally renowned orchestras, theatre groups and ensembles.
Since April 2021 Ensemble Reza has performed, in person and virtually, to over 2300 students from 17 schools in Billingshurst, Crawley, and Haywards Heath and run projects with four schools including Brighton Hove and Sussex Sixth Form College, Oriel High School, Oathall Community College and Warden Park Secondary Academy.
