Skills & experience
Angela has been a bassoon teacher for the past 17 years. She loves the bassoon and very much enjoys her work. Angela offers weekly lessons in schools and more recently ‘online’. Her pupils range in age from key stage 2 to adult and, in ability, from beginner to diploma level.
Angela’s aim is to inspire and motivate pupils in their playing whether they are working towards an exam, a performance or playing for enjoyment. She is flexible with repertoire and prepares pupils for both ABRSM and Trinity exam syllabuses.
Angela also has experience of teaching clarinet, saxophone, recorder and flute to individuals, groups and in WCET whole class first access settings.
As a bassoonist she performs regularly with orchestras and chamber groups in Sussex.
