Holiday Activity - Rock & Pop Band
Rock and Pop Band this winter in Littlehampton.
If you have a passion for playing guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano or singing then this workshop is for you!
We’ve got an exciting workshop designed for 8 – 16 yr olds – Rock & Pop Band! Designed for students that have already started learning the basics in lessons and now want to build a band.
We’ll be in Littlehampton (The Angmering School) on Thursday 2 January and Friday 3 January between 10.30 am – 2.30 pm. Come for one or all days. Lunch is included. This workshop runs between 10.30am – 2.30pm on:
- Thursday 2 January
- Friday 3 January
Free places for those receiving free school meals.
It is advisable to attend all days as each day will build on band skills, learning songs and performing at the end.
Amps, speakers, mics and keyboards are all provided, but please bring your guitar/bass and instrument lead to plug in.
All participants will receive a Digital Badge after completing the workshops. Digital badges are innovative, visual representations of skills, achievements, or certifications earned online. They serve as a modern credentialing tool, allowing individuals to showcase their accomplishments across platforms, enhancing credibility and engagement. By delving into the world of digital badges, users can gain ultimate recognition for their learning journeys, making their skills more visible to employers and peers alike
During the Rock & Pop Band workshop you will learn:
- How to play as part of a band
- Develop your instrumental skills
- Learn new songs
- New chords, progressions and riffs
