We’re keeping busy in the upcoming summer holidays with offering FOUR different music-based holiday activities in four different locations across West Sussex.
From DJ & Music Production to Rap & Lyric Writing, Pop Choir to Rock & Pop Band, there’s a lot to choose from for any 8-16 year old that loves exploring music.
All skill levels are welcome, and equipment is provided. These workshops are a wonderful opportunity to be active during school holidays and make music with others.
There are free places for those receiving free school meals, and it’s half price for those on other benefits. Lunch is included on all the holiday activities.

Rap & Lyric Writing, The Phoenix Centre, Bognor Regis.
Wednesday 24 July to Friday 26 July between 10.30am and 3pm. Creative writing, rhyming and rhythm. Record a song as part of a group. Collaborate in singing and songwriting and perform to your peers.
Rock & Pop Band, Northbrook College, Worthing
Wednesday 24 July to Friday 26 July between 10.30am and 3pm. If you have a passion for playing guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano or singing then this workshop is for you! Designed for students that have already started learning the basics in lessons and now want to build a band.
DJ & Music Production, Crawley College, Crawley
Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 July between 10.30am and 3pm. The fundamentals of music through DJing. Music production and composition. Use of decks and live performance technology. How to compose music to video. The use of tempo, pitch, texture, and rhythm. How to create your own beats and compose songs.
Pop Choir (NEW), The Windmill, Littlehampton
Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 July between 10.30 am to 2.30pm. Come for one, two, or all three days. A brand new workshop in a brand new location! Learn how to work as a choir in different harmony groups, singing techniques, work as a team and learn new songs. It is advisable to attend all days as each day will build on band skills, learning songs and performing at the end. Learn How to play as part of a band, develop your instrumental skills, learn new songs, new chords, progressions and riffs and have fun and make new friends!
All participants will receive a Digital Badge after completing the workshops. Digital Badges are a smart, simple, and visual way of recognising non-accredited learning. These are also useful tools for learners to proudly display on their website, email signature, LinkedIn profile, and CV.
